The Student Research Foundation is proud to have established research partnerships with a number of outstanding educational organizations and foundations.

Today, we would like to tell you about one of them – National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP)

National Girls Collaborative Project a Student Research Partner

NGCP’s vision is to bring together organizations throughout the United States that are committed to informing and encouraging girls to pursue careers in STEM, by:

  • Maximizing access to shared resources within projects, and with public and private sector organizations and institutions interested in expanding girls’ participation in STEM.
  • Strengthening capacity of existing and evolving projects by sharing exemplary practice research and program models, outcomes, and products.
  • Leveraging the network and the collaboration of individual girl-serving STEM programs to create the tipping point for gender equity in STEM.

Currently, 33 NGCP Collaboratives serve 41 states and facilitate collaboration between 36,400 organizations that serve 20.15 million girls and 9.5 million boys. Now, that is impressive.

NGCP Is Supporting STEM Learning for Girls and Boys across America

Among its many programs, NGCP maintains a remarkable resource called The Connectory. It’s the largest directory of STEM programs available anywhere online, and free-to-use for educators across America who are seeking STEM learning opportunities for their students.

NGCP also offers grants that support new and existing programs that support STEM learning, especially for girls. And the organization offers a variety of webinars and publications that further STEM learning.

We look forward to cooperating with NGCP in the future as we research developments in STEM learning, and to support this exceptional organization.
